I’ve always loved the Dickens’ classic about Scrooge and his scratchy quill pen.

But what if Scrooge worked on Wall Street and used a smart phone instead?

Sounds good, I thought, and set my fingers to tapping on my keyboard. I knew the story by heart, even the dialogue with Scrooge complaining about giving his clerk the day off on Christmas and sending the poor to workhouses.

But we live in a techie world with faxes, GPS, and Twitter. I had to update the story. And don’t forget, I wanted my Scrooge to be a sexy hunk. So I let my imagination run wild.

Here, let me show you:

Imagine you’re rushing around doing last minute Christmas shopping and you run smack into the most gorgeous man you’ve ever seen. He looks you over like he wants to strip off your clothes and bend you over his knee and spank you. Tall, broad shoulders, muscular chest filling out a well-cut $5,000 suit. Silky pin-striped tie, platinum cuff links. His deep blue eyes casting bold glances your way that your mama would never approve of. But you do.

Oh, my.

“Do you work around here?” you ask casually, loving the way he smells when he leans over to see if you’re okay. You nearly faint when you get a whiff of his aristocratic masculine scent. Sweet tobacco, musk. Cinnamon? Who cares? He smells divine.

“I work on Wall street,” he says, smiling.

A banker, nice.

It’s hard to get a taxi this time of day, he says, so he’ll send you home in his limo.

You can’t believe your luck. Is he one of those sexy billionaires you’ve been reading about?

You bet. You’re hooked. A Christmas present in your silk stocking and it’s only Christmas Eve.

He gives you his business card and invites you to have holiday brunch with him in his penthouse.

You’re beside yourself with glee as you rub your thighs together, lovely contractions making you hum a jingly tune.

Then you read his card:
Ebenezer Scrooge.

No, no, no…

I hit the Delete button.

It ain’t gonna work.

No matter how handsome, how sexy, how rich, who’s going to fall in love with a guy named Ebenezer? Dickens’ curmudgeon with his ill-fitting suit and stovepipe hat isn’t exactly cover model material. No way would you want him swinging his cane over your butt.

Therein lies the rub: How was I going to make my Scrooge sexy?

And stay true to the Dickens’ classic?

A timeless story of the hero seeing the error of his ways.

That’s what we love about the story, watching him change. I wanted to take that idea a step further and write about an alpha male gone wrong who finds his way home through the love of a beautiful woman.

First, Scrooge needed a new name.

Nick Radnor.

“Nick had a cast iron stomach and tight abs. He was tall, handsome and could wheel and deal with the best of them. Talk on his cell to his bankers with one hand and find his way under the elastic band on his secretary’s black silk panties with the other.”

I had to make the other characters sexy as well. What if his faithful clerk, Mr. Cratchit, was a gorgeous blonde secretary named Jinger?

“Standing in the doorway, the six-foot tall blonde wore red high heels, a black garter belt and black stockings with a red-and-white striped candy cane strapped to her thigh. She wore nothing else but a leather collar around her neck studded with rhinestones and jingle bells.”

I decided my modern Scrooge would also have a beautiful fiancée named Monique:ANaughtyChristmasCarol500_333

“Monique Ashford had the face of an angel and the figure of a model. Came from an old Newport family…Her pink babydoll top barely concealed her full breasts and her tight white panties pinched the crack of her ass…”

Nick frequents Mamie’s, a gentleman’s club in the financial district. Since I write erotic romance, I made it a BDSM club:

“She [Mamie] first strapped on her plastic stilettos and diamond choker back in the Reagan years when she opened up shop in the Silk Stocking district in a swank six-room apartment once owned by a famous madam during the Depression. Business was good and her “private parties” soon began to draw customers from Wall Street…She schooled her girls in the art of the tease as well as how to walk, talk and bend over with grace.”

Marley the Ghost became Nick’s business partner, Charlie Harris, who died in the arms of a beautiful woman at Mamie’s.

“A jovial but debauched son of a gun who played the game hard and liked his women rough.”

And we can’t forget the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future: three sexy female spirits with great bods and killer wardrobes. Not to mention magical powers.

Once I had my cast of characters (yes, I have a Tiny Tim character, too), now what?

I wanted to stay true to the Dickens’ classic, so I opened the story on Christmas Eve in Nick’s office. It’s late and Nick is working overtime when Jinger reminds him it’s time for holiday sex. No romance, just sex. And no promotion for Jinger either, Nick says. Not this year.

Nick sounds like a heartless one-percenter, doesn’t he? Just like Scrooge. I had to find out why Nick is so cold-hearted. It goes back to Christmas Eve when he was a kid and his corporate raider father gave him coal in his stocking every year. That’s why Nick hates Christmas.

Now we’re getting somewhere. We also meet Nick as a young man and discover that he wasn’t always a greedy businessman.

He’s cold and heartless now and he’s about to find out where that path is taking him when he convinces Mamie to open up her club for him late on Christmas Eve.

The old gal adores Nick, and not just his generous tips. Mamie sees something in him that no one else does: he’s a lost little boy. She also knows that Nick is still grieving over the sudden death of his business partner last Christmas Eve, Charlie.

When Charlie’s ghost shows up after a night of wild drinking and whipping, we’re off and running. The three ghosts make their appearance just like in the classic story. Three sexy babes who take Nick on a whirlwind tour of his past, present, and future with each episode tied to his beautiful fiancée, Monique.

Monique is the anchor in my story. She never stops believing in her man, no matter what. It is through her eyes that we fall in love with Nick, all the while hoping that he wakes up before it’s too late and he loses everything.

Including her.

“A Naughty Christmas Carol” was a blast for me to write. And yes, it has a happy ending. It’s an erotic and sexy 50 Shades of Grey Scrooge with three sexy female ghosts trying to save the soul of a Wall Street trader on this naughty Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Meet Mistletoe Holly.

Holly is a saucy redhead who can’t resist stealing a kiss from the cute guys in her office.

She doesn’t kiss them. She gets them to kiss her.

She hangs the holiday plant with goldish-green leaves with its big, white berries over her head. Around her neck like a slave choker.

Low over her hips.

Between her legs.

Anywhere a guy can plant a kiss.

She’s a Christmas kissing bandit.

She kisses and runs.

Into the arms of the next guy.

Watch out…if she comes to your holiday office party. She might take your man.

But not if you steal her mistletoe first…

Check out an excerpt of “A Naughty Christmas Carol” on WATTPAD:

In the excerpt, it’s Christmas Eve. Nick is still grieving over the sudden death of his business partner, Charlie, last Christmas Eve.

When Charlie’s ghost shows up after a night of wild drinking and sex, we’re off and running. Charlie warns him that three ghosts will make their appearance, just like in the classic story. Three sexy babes who will take Nick on a whirlwind tour of his past, present, and future with each episode tied to his beautiful fiancée, Monique.

Monique is the anchor in my story. She never stops believing in her man, no matter what. It is through her eyes that we fall in love with Nick, all the while hoping that he wakes up before it’s too late and he loses everything.

London is the home of Dickens’ Scrooge! And I’m thrilled today to be featured on

Indie Book Bargains UK-based Daily Kindle Book Deals

My hundred word fiction story is based on a real incident that happened to me in Italy during the Christmas Week Holiday.

Happy Holidays!

Today’s Hundred Word Fiction

Santa, Soldiers, and Orphans, oh my!

by Jina Bacarr
“Signorina, Daniele is missing,” whispered the nun.

I panicked. It was hard enough dealing with shell-shocked soldiers and orphans who didn’t speak the same language.

Now I had a lost child on Christmas Eve.

“We’ll organize a search party,” a sergeant offered, relating to a missing comrade in any language. “Al, you’re point man. Bill, you bring up the rear.”

Soon we heard a shout coming from the supply room. “We found him!”

Daniele. A loud cheer went up. Each soldier had a grin on his face. I’ll never forget those smiles.

That Christmas Eve was their first step toward home.

Mamie’s has the best girls in town ready to fulfill a gentleman’s every desire…

As I set out on this Black Friday adventure to the mall, I’m wondering what my sexy Scrooge hero, Nick Radnor, is doing today. Certainly Mr. One-Percenter is not standing in line at Walmart or Best Buy.

No, no. Not this hunky Wall Street stock trader who thinks nothing of dropping $5,000 for a suit or a measly $3,000 for a bottle of champagne.

I imagine Nick is at MAMIE’S, his Gentlemen’s Club, checking out the girls for his, um, favorite pasttime…BDSM.

Wouldn’t it be fun if the girls at Mamie’s ran Black Friday Sales?

I think so. So here you go. MAMIE’S Black Friday Deals just for you Nick Radnors out there looking for personalized Holiday BDSM treats:

Two pairs of girls wearing Christmas stockings and nothing else for the price of one.

Half off on caning.

Private “Strip-Mas” show at Midnight for early shoppers only.

Christmas suckers wearing cherry-flavored lipstick at 75 percent off.

And here is my favorite:

Christmas comes but once a year, but at Mamie’s, we guarantee you’ll come more than once, then come again!

Happy Holidays and have a Cruel Yule!!

A Naughty Christmas Carol comes straight out of today’s newsstories: “Scrooge meets Wall Street.”

I’ve always loved the Dickens’ classic about Scrooge and his scratchy quill pen. But what if Scrooge worked on Wall Street and used a smart phone instead?

And what if his faithful clerk, Mr. Cratchit, was a gorgeous blond secretary?

Hmm…I decided our modern Scrooge would also have a beautiful fiancée and frequent a gentleman’s club. Since I write erotic romance, I made it a BDSM club.

Writing the story had me laughing and crying at the same time. I couldn’t believe I could get so emotional every time I read the Christmas morning scene when the hero finds out he hasn’t missed Christmas and goes about “mending his greedy corporate ways.”

I don’t want to give anything away in A Naughty Christmas Carol, but I can guarantee you sexy times with the hero and the ladies—and ghosts in his life.

————————

Who is the Hunter?

He’s a character I’ve had in my mind for some time. A mysterious adventurer who has an almost mystical power to know what a woman wants and needs in bed. He has an unlimited fortune that allows him to roam the world doing just that.

Sound sexy? There’s more.

I’ve also been intrigued by the popularity of one-night stands.

You see them in films, short stories, anthologies and novels. That naughty deed that allows you to indulge in your fantasies with a stranger without worrying about what he’ll think “the morning after.”

Not all one-night stands are about sex. Sometimes you meet a man outside your normal environment and because he’s a stranger, you talk about things you wouldn’t with anyone else. You never see him again, but you come away wiser and more confident about yourself.

That’s what I wanted to write about: erotic short stories where the sex is hot and the Hunter helps the heroine discover something about herself that makes her blossom as a woman.

The Hunter is coming to your town…are you ready?

I have two Hunter stories for your Kindle:

Breaking the Rules by Jina Bacarr (the Hunter series)

Elaine is a rules-kind-of-girl, whether it’s at work or in the bedroom. She sets out on journey of self-discovery when she meets the Hunter, who shows her that rules are made to be broken.

Nice Girls Do It by Jina Bacarr (the Hunter series)

Will she lose her virginity before morning comes?

The “Naughty Christmas Carol” Story for Christmas Eve

I was doing last minute Christmas shopping at my local store when I asked the clerk what time they closed on Christmas Eve.

“Eleven p.m.,” said the young woman in the red Santa cap, her long brown pony tail swinging over her shoulder. She always has a big smile and a “I’m here to help you” attitude.

“At least you can sleep in on Christmas morning,” I said, remembering many Christmas Eves when I worked late. Contrary to popular belief, writers aren’t born sitting in front of a computer. We’ve had jobs, lots of jobs to pay the bills while we learn our craft.

The young clerk lost her smile. “No. I have to be here at nine a.m. and work until five on Christmas.”

Bummer.

This hard-working gal will barely have time to leave cookies out for Santa before she has to go back to work.

Talk about a corporate Scrooge.

Yes, Virginia, the store is open on Christmas. Even Dickens’ bah humbug character gave Bob Cratchit the holiday off.

Unlike my modern day Scrooge, Nick Radnor, in my Naughty Christmas Carol story.

Nick orders his secretary, Jinger, to come into the office on Christmas morning for her holiday “boner.”

He reminds me of the young clerk’s corporate boss making his staff work on Christmas.

Which is why I wrote A Naughty Christmas Carol. Yes, it’s sexy and erotic and very naughty, but I wanted to tell a modern tale of a man so blinded by corporate greed, he’s in danger of losing everything—including the woman he loves.

Why?

Because Nick has lost his perspective on what’s really important.

People. Good, hard-working people.

It’s what drives our economy. In our fast-moving world of techno gadgets and text messaging, we often forget that.

So has big business.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could sprinkle “goodwill mist” on corporate bosses like the Ghost of Christmas Present does in “A Naughty Christmas Carol?”

Nick says:

“Zap the guy over there, the one ignoring the Salvation Army captain ringing his bell. He’s the most notorious hedge fund operator on Wall Street.”

“My pleasure, Nicky boy.”

With a loud whoosh, the Ghost sprayed him. In less than a New York minute, the Wall Street hotshot was writing a check to the charity for a high five figures.

Cool, huh?

That brings me back to the young clerk with the pony tail. She’s a smart young woman with a great attitude and she’s willing to work hard to get ahead. I salute her.

So if you dash out for that last minute gift on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning, take a moment to say a special “thank you” to the clerk waiting on you.

They won’t forget it. And neither will you.

It’s the best Christmas present of all.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!

3 Sexy Ghosts visit A Naughty Christmas Carol: The Ghost of Christmas Future

Poor Nick Radnor…the 2 Ghosts have showed him what mistakes he’s made with his life as a one-percenter. A Wall Street trader with no heart…but Nick has changed.

No wonder Nick is shaking in his shoes when the Ghost of Christmas Future comes to show him what will happen to him and thos he loves if he doesn’t change his corporate greed ways:

“ARE YOU THE GHOST OF CHRISTMAS yet to come?” Nick asked, gagging. A stench like he never smelled shot up his nostrils, making him dizzy. In an instant the sexy ghost in red velvet had vanished and this somber apparition appeared in her place.

The spirit nodded.

Black crêpe wound tight around her body in a serpentine swirl. Pure, unadorned, absolute in its sensuousness as it hugged her breasts and fell straight to the floor like a splash of black ink. The layers of long veils covering her face made her seem to float.

Her perfume was pure and smelled of one essence.

Death.

Tawdry, decayed. Everlasting.

“You are here to show me what will go down in the future?” Nick continued, forcing his voice to remain steady. “Shadows, you ghosts call them.”

Again she nodded.

Damn her silence. It chilled him as words never could. A phantom bell rang in his ears, as if that made up for the ghost’s stilled voice.

“You are not like the other spirits,” Nick said, noting her shapely figure made a striking contrast to the feeling of despair surrounding her. He wanted to look away, but a macabre fascination to keep looking gripped him. “Your presence frightens me, yet you also seduce me.”

Her voluptuous body held his gaze. Big breasts with hard nipples pointing straight out. Nipped in waist, slim hips. An uber creation of the female form that he craved in his wildest imaginings.

To fuck.

Yet he feared that doing so would unleash a writhing, demonic creature that would destroy him.

Nick Radnor, my bad boy Scrooge, meets the second of 3 sexy ghosts on Christmas Eve in A Naughty Christmas Carol.

Let’s meet the second of the 3 ghosts:

“Happy to see me, Nicky boy?” said the Ghost of Christmas Present, wiggling her hips.

“Do I have a choice?” he said dryly. He rubbed his eyes, disbelieving.

A gorgeous redhead in a floor-length, skintight red cut velvet dress slit up to her thigh stood with her fists on her round hips. Her big breasts nearly fell out of her low-cut strapless gown trimmed around the bottom with white ermine. A pearl choker graced her slender neck and a white fur pouch hung low over her hips. Atop her pageboy she wore a holly crown studded with red berries and a red taffeta ribbon tied under her chin.

And those red patent leather boots. Laced up to her knees with four-inch spike heels.

Piles of Christmas presents tied with big bows and little bows surrounded her. Red, green and gold wrapped packages. Candy canes. Wooden soldiers, ballerina dolls, even a nutcracker. A cornucopia of holiday cheer.

How did this stuff get into his bedroom?

As if he couldn’t guess.

“And you are?” Nick asked.

“The Ghost of Christmas Present. And I’m all yours.”

Sex? With a ghost?

Nick cocked an eyebrow. “You can’t tempt me. If I touch you, my hand will go right through you.”

“Go on, feel my breast,” she said with a wicked smile, then swayed her shoulders.

“Okay, you asked for it.” He wasn’t in the mood after the disturbing events with the first ghost, but Nick was never a man to turn down a lady when she was begging for it.

He grabbed her breast and to his surprise warm flesh filled his palm. He tweaked her hard nipple and she moaned with satisfaction.

“Happy now?” said the Ghost.

“Yeah, but I don’t get it. The first ghost showed me what a jerk-off I’ve been–”

“Agreed,” she said, nodding.

“And now you want me to fuck you?” Nick asked. “This is unreal.”

What if 3 sexy ghosts came to visit you on Christmas Eve to show you where your life is heading?

Nick Radnor finds out in A Naughty Christmas Carol.

Let’s meet the first of the 3 ghosts:

“I am the Ghost of Christmas Past.”

“You ever had plastic surgery?” he said, walking around her in a circle. Not a wrinkle on her face. She was perfection.

“I am from your past, Mr. Radnor.”

“I don’t believe you,” he said, eyeing her firm buttocks. In spite of himself, a rising heat made him wonder what it would be like to spank her.

“Try it and find out,” she said, reading his mind. She turned around and swung her butt up into the air.

Nick raised his hand high, then cut through the still air. Instead of his palm striking hard across her buttocks, he staggered backward, as if the wind had been knocked out of him.

“Jesus, my hand went right through you.”
